FROM EMILY @ DARKLING TREASURES…My art is generally fantasy-based, yet somewhat eclectic as far as presentation goes; sometimes it will be just a painting on canvas, other times it could be a journal, a small zine, a series of sculptures…I like to work outside the box whenever possible. I love to read and write, so I have taken to designing and creating stationery, journals, and book arts when I am not painting or sketching out ideas.
I’m inspired by my strange inner world, emotions, nature, and all the possibilities a blank sheet of paper holds.
