Sunday Salon…1.03.09

WOW! It’s 2010!! YIPPEE!! HAPPY NEW YEARS to all of my readers!! I hope you all enjoyed a safe and fun time this past holiday season. Christmas, my birthday, and the New Year was happily spent with family and friends.For my birthday I even got a Christmas Faery with dark hair named Farrah…can you believe it? FARRAH the Christmas Faery! I’m Farrah, I like to think of myself as a faery (Shush! Don’t laugh…lol), and it actually had dark brown hair instead of the typical blonde! LOVE it!!! She may be a Christmas faery but she’s staying out all year long!

As much as I love the holidays I have to admit I was uber excited to see “space” again after packing up all the decorations. DH and I happily toted everything away and up into the attic. But now because of Santa, there seems to be a toy overflow into the spot where the tree once was. Apparently we miscalculated and Little One’s dollhouse and kitchen set DO NOT fit in the bedroom…

This is a year of change for me and of good change I believe.

It’s time I get back to who I was, get back to the things I enjoy, and just get life back on track.

This year I plan to pick up more books of MY choice to read. At least 1-2 books of my choice a month. Lately I feel I haven’t been reading the books collecting on my shelf that I had picked up to read. So to start the new year right, my FIRST book of the new year that is MY choice will be…The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane by Katherine Howe.

Later today I’ll be posting my review of Breakfast in Bed by Robin Kaye. She’ll be stopping by in the next week so I wanted to get that done before she hangs out with us. (**be sure to come by that day as I’ll be giving away her book too**)

Class starts back up for me the 11th so I have another week of “vacation” from school. My new job is going great at AICPA. I’m enjoying it and look forward to meeting some other team members I haven’t yet met due to holiday vacations.
