Rich, the epitome of “anti-domestic,” can’t cook to save his life, and his idea of cleaning his apartment is to invite his mother over. But he’s ready to settle down, and he can’t stop thinking about the ex-girlfriend who got away. When he notices that his soon-to-be-married friends cooked and cleaned their way into their women’s hearts, he asks his friend Becca to help transform him into a nurturing man to win back his ex.

Rich is the only guy who’s taken the time to know Becca for herself. She decides she’ll give him the makeover he’s asking for, though she’ll be damned if she’s going to turn him into a domestic god for another woman. She wants Rich for herself, but how can she convince him that her kitchen and her bedroom are the only domestic locales he desires?

FROM THE BOOK FAERY REVIEWS…Who wouldn’t be turned on by a GQ psych professor getting all domestic to win the heart of someone (even if that someone is originally for another). They say the way to a man’s heart is through cooking and I would definitely say that the way to a woman’s is cleaning (or at least TRYING to clean). I enjoyed watching the two main characters fall in love, how they related with the other characters and Tripod (the 3 legged ornery cat) in the novel, and of course loved Aunt Rose seemingly nosy knowing ways. Wanted to “high five” and shake my head at Rich a couple times (and perhaps jump in the shower too…shhhh) while I wanted soothed and shake Becca for being so slow to accept. I’m not usually big on contemporary romance but I definitely want to pick up a copy of the other books in the  trilogy (Too Hot to Handle AND Romeo Romeo).

This is a book I wouldn’t have originally picked up but did enjoy reading. While it’s not one to likely remain on the shelf or re-read over and over again I give it 3 out of 5 stars (mainly because I rarely keep contemporary romance novels on my shelves).
