Sunday Salon…12/13/09

OMG! Is Christmas REALLY less than 2 weeks away?! Even though we're simplifying Christmas gifts this year, I'm so behind on the gift department! Decided that the best way to offset a meager gift budget would be to get creative, redesign, and make as much as I could using items I could find or purchase inexpensively. So far that'd be scarves, blankets, decorated drawing pads, scrapbook kits, redesigning shirts, laptop sleeves, memo boards, homemade CDs or updating MP3 players with new music, and even making an audio book recording for my son. If you have any other easy gift ideas (non-food related) please share! I'm writing up tutorials with my finished gifts at my other blog.

So today's Sunday...working on crafts, need to bake some cut out cookies, school work, finish my latest Holiday Reading Challenge book A Bride by Christmas (historical romance anthology) and The Dog Ate My Planner by Pat Snyder for tomorrow's review, and of course visit Santa with the kids at my Alumnae Christmas party & tree lighting with carols. Here it is just after noon and I'm wondering if I'll be able to accomplish everything before midnight tonight!
