Wild Blue Under, Judi Fennell – Review

WildBlueUnderRod Tritone, heir to the throne of the undersea world, needs a queen capable of ruling the oldest kingdom on earth. Someone regal, learned and of noble birth. Problem is, the only eligible noble-born Mer princess is half-Human - and she doesn't have a clue about the non-Human part.

Valerie Dumere has screwed up her life at every turn, so when her mother dies and leaves her the family business, Val realizes it's up to her to buckle down and get her life on track. No more excuses.

So when a guy shows up claiming to be her destiny, she scoffs. No way. She isn't running away from her responsibilities ever again - no matter how good the guy looks without a shirt.

But Rod isn't going away. He can't claim his inheritance without her - and Val will lose hers if she goes with him.

It's going to take one whale of a tale to get her to chuck it all and follow him off into the wild blue under... - FROM THE AUTHOR SITE

FROM THE BOOK FAERY REVIEWS...Thanks to SourceBooks for sending me the second in Fennell's trilogy. To read what I thought of the first one and check out my interview with Judi Fennell, go here.

It just gets better and better in the Triton Trilogy. "The Little Mermaid" has definitely grown up! Lots of humor, imagination, and hot sexual tension amongst these pages. Not too much sex (but when it's there "by Gods" is it there!) and lots of adventure which will have you reminded of "The Little Mermaid" with it's talking birds and sea creatures. A fast read that will have you turning pages without realizing time has "swum" by so quickly.

About The Book Faery

Farrah is from the Raleigh, North Carolina area and married to her high school sweetheart. She's a 30-something mom to 3 crazy yet loveable kids who keep her constantly on her toes. Books can be found in every room in the house and bags as well. Reading is done every moment she gets the chance and a typical afternoon of fun would often find her and the 3 kiddos at a local bookstore or library hunting for the next book. She's currently working towards her goal to one day owning a cafe/bookstore in a historic downtown area where it's all about the reader's experience...community, atmosphere and the love of books.
