Sunday Salon…11.01.09 (October Winners Posted)

Holy Cow!! Where the heck has this year flown?! It’s November already today?! WTH!!

Were you like me and forgot to change the clocks back? Waking up to obnoxious rock blaring from the clock radio ONE HOUR TOO EARLY?!

And today all that’s been in my head is…

“It’s raining, it’s pouring, the old man is snoring…”

Yeah…literally raining and the old man is literally snoring which has forced me out of my nice warm comfy bed!

Thank goodness the rains have rained out the soccer fields because to be honest I’m barely draggin’ by AND without coffee STILL! What should have been Ladybug’s 2nd day of her soccer tournament has been rescheduled to a later date. We will however be celebrating the end of our (you’d think I was the one sweating and running out on that field!) AWESOME undefeated season (prior to this weekend’s tournament) this evening at the local pizza buffet (CiCi’s). Who doesn’t love pizza buffet; especially when one can put in a special type of pizza and not have to pay extra?! My favorite thing to do when I’m there to eat?! Getting a bowl of the fettuccine cheese to dip my pizza in that I’ve added parmesean and crushed peppers to! MMM Oh and let’s not forget the yummy spinach or sausage pizza that’s just come out of the oven! YUM!!!

Ok…time to get off the food kick…apparently I’m STARVING this morning!!!

Today I have plans to complete a writing assignment for school on the “perfect website”, taking this week’s quiz (yeah remember last week when I mentioned that I like to procrastinate?!), cleaning up my reading corner (I’m sooo curling up with my beautiful sisterhood quilt, coffee, and books today after removing my pile of clothes from it) and 3 book cases today, then completing my midterm this evening sometime after the kids hit the sack (and praying that NOTHING technical occurs as I work the midterm since it is due to be complete by midnight Mountain time…thank goodness I live on the east coast).

Since many of us are visual people, I’ll update this post later today with a couple pics of my favorite reading spot, my books, and where I often write so you can get a better feel of who this Book Faery really is when it comes to her reading and writing (who knows…you just might spot me in a pic or two).
