Sunday Salon 9.27.09

It’s another Sunday and I swear each week flies faster as I get older! With the number of review requests increasing and the many books just coming my way that were not requested my bookshelves are overflowing! I promise you I’m not complaining one bit so keep them coming. With all the books coming in from authors, book agents, and publishers, I am though noticing I haven’t been reading many of the books that I myself wanted to read. My mom even noticed and kept asking me why I haven’t been reading the books she’s given me or I’ve gotten. So I’ve decided to alternate books between review requests and my own personal to be read list.

My latest personal book I wanted to read? Christine Feehan’s Hidden Currents which was the 7th in her Drake Sister series and the last. The book has been sitting on my shelf since it’s release date. But last night I finally finished it after starting it Thursday. I’ll be posting my personal review on the series later today or this week.

Today I’ve begun to read G.H. Monroe’s book of short stories called That’s My Story!. Later this week I plan on posting my review and Mr.Monroe himself is allowing me to give away a copy of it to a lucky commenter.

Be sure to come back tomorrow as I also finished reading Amelia Grey‘s (one of my favorite historical romance authors) 2nd novel in The Rogue’s Dynasty: A Marquis to Marry AND she’s coming back to visit The Book Faery Reviews tomorrow! This will be her SECOND visit here! I’m super stoked as again she’s one of my favorite historical romance authors.
