After the Ball: A Woman’s Tale of Reclaiming Happily Ever After, Barb Greenberg Book Review

aftertheballbookfrontwebMany a princess lives "happily ever after" with a prince who is strong and true. This is cause to celebrate. But not all royal couples are so fortunate. After the Ball offers hope and inspiration to the princesses who finds her fairy tale is ending much differently than expected and is now, or will soon be, prince-less.

After the Ball is a special story for women of all ages. A story that has often been hidden or lost. A story of strength and courage. A story of promise and fulfillment all women can constantly revisit. - FROM THE BOOK BACK

ABOUT THE AUTHOR...After her divorce, Barb worked through her pain, found healing and wholeness, and was determined to share what she had learned.  Her book After the Ballwhich began as a story for divorced and divorcing women, blossomed into a tale for all women seeking to reconnect with their strength and power and wisdom. As with her first book, Hope Grew Round Me, Barb uses her personal experience to inspire courage and offer hope to her readers.

For over twenty years, Barb has trained and motivated consultants and directors in her position as an Independent Sales Director with Mary Kay, Inc. She has spoken at small group meetings, as well as workshops, covering a variety of topics including, goal setting, time management, and self-esteem building. Barb loves to mentor and support women to be successful, happy and whole. Whether presenting at a large workshop or teaching in a small group setting, or conducting her divorce seminar, her peaceful yet powerful message is a gift to all who hear her speak. - FROM AUTHOR WEBSITE

FROM THE BOOK FAERY REVIEWS...After the Ball was a quick read that could be read in one sitting yet make one think longer. I recommend that any women who is in any sort of intimate relationship read this. Barb Greenberg tells the story in a "fairy tale" style parable using Cinderella and Snow White as the main characters. She reminds us through these princesses that we (women) determine our own happiness and even when our relationships go bad we are strong, will get through it, and even eventually find a new love again.

Farrah is from the Raleigh, North Carolina area and married to her high school sweetheart. She's a 30-something mom to 3 crazy yet loveable kids who keep her constantly on her toes. Books can be found in every room in the house and bags as well. Reading is done every moment she gets the chance and a typical afternoon of fun would often find her and the 3 kiddos at a local bookstore or library hunting for the next book. She's currently working towards her goal to one day owning a cafe/bookstore in a historic downtown area where it's all about the reader's experience...community, atmosphere and the love of books.
