Wow…where do my weeks go?!  Ever since I’ve been a stay at home mom (March ’08) it just seems my week days fly and the weekends fly faster.  When I worked I preferred a faster weekday but of course they’d drag and weekends weren’t long enough.  Now that I have a semi-permanent weekend, every day flies by!  :-(

Over the last week this Book Faery has posted…

Books Read last week included…

  • The Brief History of The Dead by Kevin Brockmeier (Fiction: Sci-Fi / Paranormal) – Would read again!
  • Potent Pleasures by Eloisa James (Fiction: Historical Romance) – Good one.
  • Midnight Pleasures by Eloisa James (Fiction: Historical Romance) – OK, not as good as the first.
  • Enchanting Pleasures by Eloisa James (Fiction: Historical Romance) – Best one of all three in the Pleasures trilogy.

I’m Currently Reading…

  • Candles Burning (Fiction: Thriller/Paranormal) – Been on hold due to other books popping up that grab my attention.
  • The Turnaround by George Pelecanos (Fiction: Contemporary Suspense) – Currently on hold due to trying to get into the mood to pick up again.
  • Texas Dreams 1: Paper Roses by Amanda Cabot (Fiction: Historical Inspiration) – Reading with excitement.
  • The Lake That Stole Children by Douglas Glenn Clark (Fiction: Children/Young Adult) – Starting once I complete Paper Roses.
  • Eragon (Fiction: Fantasy) – Reading with 8 year old son so we’re reading at a pretty slow pace but enjoying it with him.

Books Received for Review…

  • The Smartest Way to SAVE by Samuel K. Freshman & Heidi E. Clingen (Non-Fiction: Finance)
